Pigs in a blanket is a common term for hot dogs baked in a crescent roll.
This recipe can be prepared and refrigerated up to 24 hours ahead and wrapped in plastic wrap. My grandkids and kids love these crescent dogs. Kids absolutely adore them and they are a fun and easy twist on a traditional hot dog recipe. There are so many different types of hot dogs out there ranging from chicken, beef, turkey, and even vegan hot dogs. Pillsbury Crescent rolls are vegan and are dairy-free.
