Our homemade simple lemonade recipe is so much easier than you think, three ingredients to a thirst-quenching drink. It's the perfect combination of sweet and tart! When using a clear pitcher, adding a few of the juiced lemon halves makes it look prettier.



There are varieties of lemonade found throughout the world.  In North America and South Asia, cloudy lemonade dominates. It is traditionally a homemade drink using lemon juice, water, and a sweetener such as cane sugarsimple syrup, or honey.

  • Lemons - Fresh squeezed 
  • Sugar+Water (Simple Syrup)
  • Filtered Water -Whenever water is one of the main ingredients in your recipes, it’s best to add high-quality drinking water instead of plain tap water.



  • Make simple sugar syrup, and cool for 10 minutes.
  • Roll your lemons on the counter, rolling helps to burst open some of the individual segments inside lemons so it's easier to get at the juice. Juice lemons.
  • In a  pitcher, stir together lemon juice, simple syrup, and 8 cups of water. Pour lemonade into ice-filled glasses.

    Add some pizzazz and sparkle to your lemonade

  • Add 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract for Vanilla Lemonade
  • Add sparkling water instead of filtered water to brighten your lemonade.
  • Throw some frozen pineapple chunks into your pitcher for a tropical flavor.
  • Lavender Lemonade, a teaspoon of the lavender's dried flowers, steeped with sugar and water to make a simple syrup, adds a light floral fragrance to this refreshing elixir. 
  • Add 4 tablespoons of raspberry syrup for Raspberry Lemonade
  • Add 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk to a pitcher of lemonade for Brazilian Lemonade.

    Classic Lemonade

    Our homemade simple lemonade recipe is so much easier than you think, three ingredients to a thirst-quenching drink. It's the perfect combination of sweet and tart!

    Ingredients:
    • 6 large lemons, cut in half and seeds removed
    • 8 cups purified or filtered water
    • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 1/2 cup water (simple sugar syrup)
    Instructions:
    1. Make simple sugar syrup by adding the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    2. Firmly roll the lemons between your hand and countertop before cutting in half and juicing. Juice lemons and set aside.
    3. In a  pitcher, stir together lemon juice, simple syrup, and 8 cups of water. Pour lemonade into ice-filled glasses.
