Ingredients:
- 6 large lemons, cut in half and seeds removed
- 8 cups purified or filtered water
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 1/2 cup water (simple sugar syrup)
Instructions:
- Make simple sugar syrup by adding the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Firmly roll the lemons between your hand and countertop before cutting in half and juicing. Juice lemons and set aside.
- In a pitcher, stir together lemon juice, simple syrup, and 8 cups of water. Pour lemonade into ice-filled glasses.
